We're proud of the team exceptional leaders that we have carefully assembled over the last 15 years. These are the friendly faces who will join you on your next challenge. Find out more below about our regular professional leaders.

Richard of Adventure Cafe Richard is a passionate and active outdoors professional. His wealth of experience ranges from cycling across the Tibetan Plateau, to swimming the English Channel as part of a relay team, rowing the straits of Gibraltar, as well as Rock Climbing and Caving. Richard set up AC in 2003, ... Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, a qualified International Mountain Leader, and Climbing Instructor and has cycled in over 39 countries around the world. Currently in the midst of a mid life return to Triathlon and seriously enjoying swimming... variety is, after all, the spice of life :-)

Nadine of Adventure CafeNadine - is a director at Adventure Cafe, and was a key part of The Human Power Round the World Expedition in 1999 - 2001 cycling through Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia... Nadine has recently succumbed to the delights of Strava, and enjoys open water swimming, cycling, and has been known to venture underground, exploring the Mendip Cave Systems. You can speak to her about the 3 Peaks, trekking in the UK and overseas, and International Cycling. You can also ask her about caving, canoeing and climbing.

Tom from Adventure Cafe Tom - is Adventure Cafe's Cycling Events Manager - with an amazing and long range of experience as an Adventure Cyclist, Tom can boast of a recent expedition from Alaska down through North and Central America and down into South America. His experience extends across Europe and further, and has ridden London to Paris more times than most, and is a truly inspirational leader.

Dave of Adventure Cafe HQ Dave - is Adventure Cafe's Mountain Events Manager, and specialises firstly in running our mountain and walking events. Dave is a keen climber, and with a wealth of travel, events and adventure experience, as well as being a Paddle Leader, he can help you on a range of different event types, especially on multi activity. Recent challenges - Thames Challenge, National 3 Peaks, Nightwalks, and his toughest assignment - 4 Marathon Walks in 4 days last summer.

Fraser Adventure Cafe Cycle and Multi Activity Event LeaderFraser - is our all new cycling events co-ordinator and Cycle Leader. Fraser has already clocked up some impressive miles in Italy, Portugal, Mallorca and the UK, and is champing at the bit ready for some amazing rides in the coming year. Most exciting cycling experience to date: - Riding through the recent forest fires in Portugal.

Jo Adventure Cafe Cycle and Multi Activity Event LeaderJo - joined our team in earnest in 2017, and instantly made use of her depth of experience, leading in the French Alps, cycling across Scotland, leading on our 24 Hour London to Paris ride and running the South Downs Way. Her background as a pro-triathlete (with in excess of 20 Full Distance Ironman events) gives her an in depth understanding of what it takes to prepare for big challenges, and how to get the best from yourself.

Andrew from Adventure Cafe Andrew - is Adventure Cafe's most widely travelled cycle leader! With somewhere in the region of 40 countries under his belt, and with crossings of the Australian Outback, Iran and Indonesia under his belt, he has more cycling experience in the bank than most. Ask him about sailing to West Timor if you want a good yarn... or trekking across Polar Ice Caps!

Small Jon from Adventure Cafe Jon - is never short of a story and a bright comment to inspire even your darkest moment on a challenge. With Long Distance Triathlons (6 last year alone) and Marathons aplenty in his locker of experience, he knows about training, preparing for challenges, and getting through, even when things are looking tough. Just don't ask him to paint the ceiling :-)

Stephen Adventure Cafe 3 Peaks GuruStephen - is our knowledge in the Peaks and Yorkshire. A mountain leader, climber, keen caver, and all round outdoors font of knowledge, he can bring a smile to even the toughest situation with his dry Sheffield humour. Veteran of more 3 Peaks than he can count, but also our Tuscany leader, and often found in the Lakes, Yokshire Dales and Snowdonia, you'll be in safe hands withe Stephen in the mountains.

Steve Adventure Cafe Mountain LeaderSteve - is based in Snowdonia, and an active Climber and Mountaineer, and one of our regular leaders on challenges aorund the British Mountains. Whatever the weather, wherever you may be, Steve will always be there with an encouraging word and a reassuring smile - a firm favourite amongst our challengers.

Si of Team Adventure CafeSi- is one of our highly experienced mountain and cycle events leaders. As well as being a regular 3 Peaks Leader, Si is also a qualified Rock Climbing Instructor, and Canoe Coach. Recently equipped with Road Cycling upgrade chip, Si is now a fully fledged Cycle Events Leader! With over 20 3 Peaks Challenges in the bag, ask for Si on your 3 Peaks... he has the experience you need!

Rob Adventure Cafe LeaderRob - is an exceptionally experienced Adventure Leader. With a depth of knowledge in mountaineering, climbing, paddling, windsurfing, and cycling. But best of all, he is full of beans, and more then willing to share his time with challengers beginning into the outdoors. He lives, works, and plays on the Sea Cliffs of Cornwall.
