Ride Nice 2 Barcelona via Ventoux

Bike Adventure

This ride is not for the faint hearted, leaving the beauty of Nice behind as we head into the alps and towards Ventoux. From here we head south along the Mediterranean coast before crossing the Pyrenees into the cycle heaven of Girona before finishing up in Barcelona

Departing from Nice we head north to hunt down the infamous mount Ventoux. Not before spending a night in the Verdon Gorge. Once the challenge oif Ventoux is complete we will begin to make our way back to the Mediteranian via Avignon. We shall spend a full day cycling the coastline between Montpellier and Perpignon. After our relatively flat day we head into our second mountain range, the Pyrenees and take on our biggest climb the col d'Ares. We then spend the afternoon descending fabulous roads into the cycle mecca of Girona. Finishing off our ride exploring the fabulous roads of this region, ending our ride on the beach in Barcelona

Notes on Cycling Events

This is our standard range of Cycling Challenges in the UK, Europe and further afield. However, we offer completely tailormade itineraries to your specification. Call us to discuss! Please note that for overseas point to point cycling challenges we can transport soft cases for bike transport - but not hard cases, due to space limitations on board our support vehicles. On all our cycling events, please pack sensibly and bring a reasonably sized soft holdall type bag. To participate in an overseas Adventure Cafe challenge - you must carry Travel Insurance (to be for the activity you are participating in, and to include repatriation to the UK). Please also note that you should have a good level of cycling experience and be competent to handle your bike. We ride on roads shared with other vehicles - and you need to be able to deal with this safely.
