London City Adventure Challenge

Multi Activity Adventure

Get set for an amazing excitement filled day, which will push you to your limits, and test your skills and endurance to the maximum.

City Adventure Challenge offers you and your colleagues a unique and exciting day away from your desk! We break the mould of 'away days'. Get remotivated, get active and get fit!

City Adventures Challenges start here...
Meet your Challenge Leaders in Canary Wharf, London at 08:30. After a team briefing, it is over to you and your team to tackle the puzzles, challenges and the distance that separates you and your goal. We shall push you to your limits! You could be walking, running, cycling, canoeing even rock climbing!
Will you Rise to the Challenge?
During the course of the day you are required to collect 'targets'. Sounds easy? Think again. Targets are precious, and it would hardly be an Adventure Challenge if your challenge leaders made it easy. Think miles, think vertical ascents, think crossing water, think fiendish locations in London with cryptic information, via two wheels, two legs, and maybe even aquatic support vessels! Now imagine, you're going to cram all of this into one day.
Get your Team ready...
We're proud of our adventure challenges, as we know it will give you a day to never forget, but we also know that it offers more. It is a unique way of bringing your team closer together, promoting active and healthy living while enjoying and exploring our amazing capital. Best of all, it is cost effective and time efficient - as the adventure challenges fit into just one day.

Itinerary

We have three exciting itineraries for you to choose from offering different grades of endurance and challenge - Choose the one for you...

X-London Adventure Triple
This challenge starts on two wheels, turns to an aerial challenge, then converts on to a two footed orienteering challenge, before reverting finally to two wheels for the final ride in. Of course, we can't publish the full details - that would be giving the game away - but call us or email us to get a full event briefing.

Capital Classic Challenge
Bang, you will be setting out on the Vertical - with a quick fire rock climbing session straight out of the blocks. This will be followed up with Biking, Canoeing, and Orienteering. It's going to be a pretty full day! Call now to discuss further!

Mega City 7 Challenge
An early start will see you pushing yourself to the limit. Covering the full breadth of London, and much of the innards city, you will be climbing, riding, running, tackling aerial ropes, paddling, orienteering, and calling upon the services of the water borne RIB team. Be ready for everything, and make sure you are prepared. This will probably be the toughest day in the city you have experienced to date!

Route Map

What is a Level 3.0 Multi Activity Challenge Like?

These challenges are either longer, higher, or span several days. In the case of single day events, you can expect around 8 hours of full on multi activity. In the case of a multi day challenge, you can expect a lower daily duration, but of course the effort is sustained over a longer period. You need to be used to challenging physical exercise for these events, and to enjoy your training, and to do it regularly. Longer duration challenges are likely to be easier in terms of the physical effort, however, you will need to be more resilient due to simple living conditions, i.e. using same clothes for several days, simple food, and maybe camping. This forms an integral part of the challenge.

How Fit Do I need to be to join a Level 3.0 ‘Multi Activity Challenge’?

You need to have good endurance for these events. You must be used to doing longer days in the outdoors - 7-8 hours. You should be doing regular exercise - with some intense outdoors exercise. You should be used to long rides, long walks, and all round challenging days. You need to have balanced the need for multiple forms of exercise in your training - including some upper body work, and some flexilbility.

Medical Issues

Please note, it is extremely important for this physical challenge that you are in good health. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please consider carefully whether you should be joining the challenge. Please ensure you fill in the booking form accurately and honestly, this is important. In the case of serious conditions (epilepsy, diabetes, heart conditions, recent illness or operations), please discuss the challenge with your GP. Please also ensure you notify us of any allergies or similar.

It requires stamina and good aerobic fitness - but good willpower will also come in handy! Failure to disclose medical conditions is a serious omission - that could have serious repercussions on any of our challenges.
