Adventure Café Insurance Policies

Are we properly protected when taking part / organising an event?

Liability – Civil, Public, & Employers

Adventure Café carries insurances to conduct its business, and to indemnify itself against any claims that (we hope will not) arise. But in case they do – we are covered on an annual basis. This policy allows us to provide adventurous activities, in the UK and further afield. We are covered to a limit of £5million. Certificates are available for inspection at any time.

Tour Operator Insurance Policy:

This component of our policy covers us for the act of packaging together a tour – using services from time to time provided by third parties (such as accommodation, transportation sevices, activities etc). We are covered to a limit of £5 million with regard to Public and Products Insurance, and £1 million cover in regard to Professional Indemnity.

Package Travel Regulations (Payments Protection):

All payments made in advance in relation to a package travel challenge are protected through our Package Travel Policy. This ensures that even in the unexpected and unlikely event of Adventure Café becoming insolvent – your payments (whether a charity, a corporate team or an individual) – are all covered – and would be returned to you. This is a legal requirement under the Package Travel Regulations of 1992.

Personal Protection Insurance (Hospitalisation/Loss of Earnings):

In order to participate in overseas events, you MUST carry personal insurance. When travelling to Europe we strongly recommend carrying a GHIC (Global Health Insurance Card) or EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) card – which are the up to date versions of the old E111 form.

Please make sure your Travel insurance covers you for the activity in which you are partaking, and includes expatriation cover. A range of options are available such as: Campbell Irvine Direct www.campbellirvinedirect.com or Sports Cover Direct: www.sportscoverdirect.com - who offer a good range of travel insurance covering adventurous challenge activities.

Adventure Cafe is an Unregulated Introducer of Campbell Irvine Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Please contact Adventure Café on 01823 444246 to arrange your very own exclusive adventure event. We will price up for your very own company event adventure especially tailored to your requirements.
